The Dream Roll is the women’s motorcycle festival I never knew I needed in my life. The motorcycle rally in Washington State, brought 280 women and trans people from all over the world together for a weekend of riding, camping, topless dancing and a celebration of community.
Honestly, when I first saw the photos I had a bad case of FOMO. I NEED to make it to next year’s gathering. I need to be dancing topless after a long day’s ride with a half-empty bottle of wine in my hand.
I got the chance to chat with Trinia, an avid Dream Roll supporter and owner of Hinterland Empire a screen printing and design company focused on adventure apparel. Trinia believes in building up and supporting women. “In our spare time we help organize motorcycle builds for local charities,” She explained in an email, “We want our brand to be worn by people who are out in the world exploring, making a difference in their communities, or simply just badass people in their own right. More than anything we want to make apparel for women and girls who kick ass. We draw inspiration from the wonderful people in our lives who inspire us, as well as the beautiful place we live in: Humboldt County.”
In an effort to keep giving back, I’ve partnered with Hinterland Empire and the Dream Roll to give you guys a peek inside their awesome women’s motorcycle festival, AND give you the chance to win a prize pack of Hinterland Empire goods.
Can’t wait for the giveaway? Use promo code “holdfast” at Hinterland Empire for 15% off your entire purchase. I know a few people who are getting the “Try not to be a cunt” baseball Tee from Santa this year…
